I have have several times when hater took photo sneakily from me, then spread it around saying I’m not as pretty as my photoshopped photos. And I mean, yes it’s true. I photoshop my face a lot on photos. I won’t say that it’s normal for cosplay else people who rarely edit anything will jump in and confront me that they’re pretty naturally 😂. It just it’s super difficult to achieve that flawless magical look of fictional characters, thus I always use editing to enhance it and push it to the best it can be.
But for people who hate u and do it purposely to drag u down, then u will need to learn to protect yourself. Gaming community is more toxic and healthy, u or someone upload a cosplay photo in the game community, most of them will for sure body shaming u and find a reason to boycott u just cause u’re cosplayer (or e-girl or e-thot whatsoever)
